Hello, my beautiful friends! Today's topic will be on something I just experienced for myself. Why would it be beneficial to take a small break from social media? I just recently went on a vacation and during this vacation, I really wanted to focus on myself, bible study and most of all relaxation and enjoying my family. It was an international trip so I chose to keep my wifi off and not go on social media for four days. This was something I thought I could share because this is a break you can take while on vacation or not. This is something I will incorporate once a month just to reduce stress and have more time to do other things that are important to me. One reason I think that this break could be beneficial is because you would have so much more time to focus on a hobby or researching something that is important to you. Hello, my beautiful friends! I don't know about you but I have been taking full advantage of Mr. Sun this summer. I have been outside a lot and unconsciously exposing my face and body to the sun. Don't get me wrong I LOVE a good tan, but I do not want to damage my skin, especially the skin on my face. During the whole year, I have a skin care routine that I stick to and have been sticking to that keeps my face as clear as possible. I have extremely oily skin in my t-zone (your t-zone is your forehead, down your nose and your chin area). I would consider my cheeks to be normal to dry. Hello my beautiful friends!! As you can see by the title, this blog will be a little something different. There has been SO much going on in the world. I'm not going to get into the details of that....but, it could easily suck you in to thinking negative thoughts all day everyday. Not only is there devastating news everyday, but our individual lives are not perfect either. Negative thoughts are something that can easily creep up on you and settle in your mind and become a part of your daily routine. This is something that can trigger anxiety or even the beginning stages of depression. It does take some training but controlling your thoughts IS possible. Trust me, I know from experience. Hello Beauties!! I have missed you as it has been two weeks, I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekends. Today I am bringing you, as anticipated, my top 5 summer lipsticks. These lipsticks are my "go to" lipsticks. I did not even realize that they where all NYX but in all actuality it makes since because that IS my most owned lip brand in my collection lol. It is an extremely affordable brand with great quality. All of these products cost between five and seven dollars.  Now before I dig into the top 5, I have a few disclaimers. The first one is that I usually only wear these when my face makeup is done or half way done. With that being said I would suggest adding a small layer of lip balm, lining your lips and/or filling in your lips with lip liner before applying any lipsticks or lip stains. INTRODUCTION: Hello beautiful people, before we begin with the DIY,  I just wanted to quickly explain what it is I am making because not everyone knows just from reading the tittle. I have made my own version of a "Diva Ring Light". This is a circular light used for photos or videos. As you all know I am working to improve my blog page and my YouTube page. Lighting is one of the main ways I can do that. By researching I have seen that a circular ring is good for lighting from all angles shoulders and up. When doing this project keep in mind that the color of your LED lights that you choose should be called "daylight" or "cool white". This color of LED lights will show the most true to color on pictures or videos. I did this DIY because the total coast was about $30 opposed to the $300 that the "Diva Ring Light" coast. Hello and welcome to my new and imported blog page! This is so exciting for me because this is the beginning of a new chapter for my professional creative career. This was an amazing year full of ups and downs and I would not take anything back. Unfortunately this year came with some computer problems. Some of them being that my videos editing software no longer is able to run on my computer. By the grace of God at the end of the summer I will be able to purchase a MacBook Air.
