A Promise to Self-Love..💕

Hello my beautiful friends, I hope everyone is using the tips from my "PossitiviTEA" blog and keeping your head up high. Always use that blog as a reference when things get hard and you feel you have nowhere to turn. Today's blog is going to be about promising yourself to self-love and put yourself first before anyone or anything. If you are single, in a romantic relationship, married, have children, don't have children, man, woman or anyone else this blog applies to you. No matter what or who is in your life you must put yourself first because you cannot help or take care of anyone else if you are not taken care of yourself.

This blog was inspired my one of my favorite YouTube beauty gurus Amanda Ensing. She is my favorite because she not only loves everything beauty but she is all about beauty starting from the inside and enhancing that. She is a fantastic person who is never ashamed to shout God out, pray for others, have snap chat conversations and help people she doesn't even know and she is overall a fun person who wants girls to love themselves and SLAY THE DAY! Amanda bought herself a promise ring as a reminder and a promise to herself to always keep her first. She made a promise to love herself unconditionally and respect herself.

I decided to do the same thing. As my journey started in May when I went through a tragic breakup. I wouldn't say that I lost myself, but I wanted to rediscover some parts of myself that I have buried.  I began just loving myself so much. I began literally from my head to my toes and loving every part of me and who I am. I am obviously not perfect nor does this mean I am conceited but I enjoy myself.  I can enjoy being by myself, doing things for myself, taking care of myself and enjoy my relationship with God (as always lol). Another thing that I promised myself is not to argue, stress or get saddened about things that do not matter. I promise to respect myself and this includes only being around people that respect me as well. Anyone else isn't worth my time and I promise I will not waste any of my time.

This ring is a promise to me. I love me and I want you to love you too. My ring is something my parents gave me a while ago but it is significant because it is shaped into a butterfly. To me, butterflies are my guardian angels. They are so free and beautiful. I have a few incorporated into the tattoo that I have and I just feel those are my spirit animals. I want my spirit to be as free as a butterfly. I want you reading this to find a ring you have or buy yourself something that will last and make a promise to yourself to love and respect yourself. Promise to take care of yourself and know that without you being okay, you cannot take care of anyone else.

Take a Small Break From Social Media 😱🚫

Hello, my beautiful friends! Today's topic will be on something I just experienced for myself. Why would it be beneficial to take a small break from social media? I just recently went on a vacation and during this vacation, I really wanted to focus on myself, bible study and most of all relaxation and enjoying my family. It was an international trip so I chose to keep my wifi off and not go on social media for four days. This was something I thought I could share because this is a break you can take while on vacation or not. This is something I will incorporate once a month just to reduce stress and have more time to do other things that are important to me. One reason I think that this break could be beneficial is because you would have so much more time to focus on a hobby or researching something that is important to you. Skin Care Routine with Tips for Sunburned Face!! 🏊

Hello, my beautiful friends! I don't know about you but I have been taking full advantage of Mr. Sun this summer. I have been outside a lot and unconsciously exposing my face and body to the sun. Don't get me wrong I LOVE a good tan, but I do not want to damage my skin, especially the skin on my face.
